Recognizing that issues such as extravagant wedding expenses, lack of prioritisation in education and healthcare, and limited political representation contribute to the community’s struggles, we aim to foster meaningful change through awareness and empowerment.
Our initiatives include Aasan Nikāh, which promotes simple and affordable weddings, as well as dedicated efforts to enhance education, healthcare planning, and political representation. Through strategic interventions, we strive to uplift the community and foster long-term social and economic growth.
To achieve our mission, the Quresh Conference is actively expanding its presence across India by establishing regional branches. These branches will engage in educational, social, political, and economic activities to strengthen the community’s standing. We will conduct seminars, conferences, and webinars to raise awareness about critical issues and safeguard the business interests of those in the meat industry at a national level.
Additionally, the conference is committed to fostering financial independence and professional growth within the community. To achieving this goal, we are implementing transparent systems for Zakāt collection, which will fund coaching centres and skill development programs to equip individuals with the necessary tools for success. We also advocate for greater political representation of the Qureshi community at all levels of governance to ensure their voices are heard in policymaking.
Moreover, our efforts extend to the modernization of slaughterhouses and ensuring that meat industry workers comply with relevant regulations. We are also exploring opportunities for business loans to help Qureshi entrepreneurs upgrade their shops and businesses.
